New Orleans is in a quick revenge spot after being embarrassed by lowly Houston 114-112 on Friday night when the Rockets erased a 16-point second-half deficit and Jabari Smith Jr. hit a hit a 3-pointer with less than a second left to win it. Previously the Pelicans had won and covered five straight meetings with the Rockets and New Orleans still is 18-7-1 ATS versus teams with below .400 winning percentages and it has covered five of seven meetings at Houston. Surprisingly, the Rockets have beaten Boston, the Lakers and New Orleans their last three games, but it will be too much to defeat the desperate Pelicans twice in three days especially since Houston still is eyeing a high draft choice with one of the worst records in the league.
