New Orleans is motivated on the West bubble at three games behind #8 seed Phoenix. New Orleans is #15 in the NBA in scoring and #10 in rebounds. New Orleans is on a 13-6 ATS run, and are off a loss but the Pelicans are 5-1 ATS following a defeat. Detroit has been getting a lot of attention by the national press after turning things around by getting rid of Josh Smith. They are also getting too much attention from the oddmsmakers, currently on a 1-2 spread run. This team is still #22 in scoring, #17 in points allowed, and #19 in field goal shooting defense. They failed to cover in a loss to Atlanta, allowing 49% shooting and 10-of-23 threes (43.5%). They come off a surprising win at Toronto, but allowed 54% shooting.
