New Orleans at Detroit

New Orleans got blown out at Boston, but that was the second of a back-to-back after beating the Knicks the night before. The Pelicans still are 8-1-1 ATS their last 10 games overall and 4-1-1 ATS their last six road games. Detroit is 16-34-1 ATS its last 51 games, and they have covered just one of their last eight home contests. Also, New Orleans is 6-1 ATS the last seven meetings at Detroit. The Pistons lost 108-99 to Chicago on Saturday as a lack of defense was the culprit again. Detroit has allowed opponents to shoot over 50 percent the last three games combined. Even the lowly Cleveland Cavaliers shot 52.7 percent in a 115-112 overtime win over the Pistons on Thursday. Look for New Orleans to avenge a two-point loss to Detroit in December. Play the Pelicans.
