I'm not sure how the odds makers figured this line. What they are saying is that these teams are even if you throw out the home-court advantage. That is hard to say that Cleveland has had just a four-point home advantage when they have blown out just about everyone. The Cavs are 19-0 at home and have won 13 of them by 10+ and a 14th by nine against Houston, that list also includes the Celtics by 15. The Hornets are definitely a good team, but just 11-7 on the road. When you look at double-digit losses at Orlando, Utah, Boston, and Portland on the road, and a nine-point loss as well to Houston, this line has lots of value on the Cavs who seem to be on a mission this season, and I'll take them in this spot. I also like this one to stay UNDER the total. The Cavs are allowing just 84.2 points per game in their last 10 at home. When Cleveland has been a favorite of 4.5 points or fewer, they have been 10-3 to the UNDER. The Hornets have also played 16-5 to the UNDER on one day’s rest. I like both the Cavs and the UNDER in this game.
