Over the past couple of seasons, the Minnesota Timberwolves were supposed to be better than they actually have been. They have a lot of young talent, but have not been able to get over the top, and play their way into the playoffs. They opted out of Kevin Love for another rookie player in Andrew Wiggins, but they are starting all over again, and it shows in their 5-18 record to start the season with just two road wins. Washington was in the same place a few years ago, but they have come together. They made the playoffs last year, and have been impressive early at 17-6 and have stood up at home where they are 12-2. The oddsmakers have now put this team on the over-valued side, and the -13.5 point line here is 2.5 points higher than any line all season in favor of the Wizards. This team has been known to leave the "A" game in the locker room at home vs. bad teams as they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight at home vs. a team that has a less than .400 road winning percentage. Take the points on Minnesota.
