Minnesota at Sacramento

The Minnesota Timbervolves now have a depleted roster. After being somewhat competitive the last couple of years, they have really fallen sharply and have the second worst record in the NBA. Yes, Minnesota's defense is horrible. But so what? Sacramento is just 13-23 straight-up this season vs. poor defensive teams (those allowing 100+ per game). And, they are just 16-23 at home this year. Also, Sacramento hasn't exactly been playing at even a mediocre level down the stretch. The Kings are going nowhere, and have had a long playoff drought, and a five game losing streak. They will be facing one of the NBA's worst teams, and they have not been able to get it up for good teams, so it is quite unlikely they bring much to this game, leaving the door open for Minnesota to surprise, take advantage and steal a win.
