Minnesota at New York

The NY Knicks invested in the free agent market in an effort to make the team a lot more competitive. The problem that is they enter this game with a pedestrian 9-9 record on the season. One current issue is that Courtney Lee will miss tonight, and he may be joined by Joakim Noah, who will be a game-time decision. That thins out a Knicks rotation that is not deep enough or talented enough to push them over the top, so the team continues to flounder. At 5-13, Minnesota has dropped and failed to cover three straight games, so at the very least they will come in hungry. The Knicks have shot less than 40% in two of their last three games, and with some pieces missing they could find themselves on the short side at the Garden tonight. Make the play on Minnesota.
