Minnesota at Los Angeles

The Wolves are quietly one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and need the win here to keep pace with the Nuggets and Grizzlies. This line is low, and the Lakers have been horrible of late. Revenge will be served cold tonight. Both of these teams are as dependable as rain. The Lakers broke a 0-8 SU & 0-7-1 skid with win over the Knicks shooting a torrid 53.4% from the field but were beaten up by Sixers, Sonics and Clippers in prior three homies. The T-Wolves now 11-8 under McHale could be poised for run having won four straight. They seem to play better away from the Target Center and are now 6-4 SU & ATS L10 on the road. LA is 2-0 SU & ATS vs. Minny this year, both games decided from the perimeter. In the 93-90 Lakers win at the Staple on Jan 19th, the hosts were 6-10 from beyond the arc while the Wolves went ice cold 1-14. Nine days before, the Lakers hit an amazing 16 treys in Minneapolis in 105-96 win. The Wolves are simply too talented to have struggled this badly for an entire season. The return of Sam Cassel has been huge and Minnesota is 27-11 ATS when playing with double revenge over the last 3 seasons. Minnesota Ds up tonight and gets my pick here for four stars.
