Minnesota at Detroit

Minnesota looks to avenge a 117-90 loss to the Pistons on Dec. 9 when the the Timberwolves still were getting used to coach Tom Thibodeau's coaching style. The Timberwolves have improved lately while winning five of their last seven games although they need to bounce back from a loss at Cleveland, which came two nights after an overtime win over Orlando. Detroit hasn't been able to get on track the entire season while suffering from poor shooting and inconsistency. The Pistons snapped a three-game skid 118-98 over New Orleans on Wednesday with a rare shooting performance of 54.5 percent from the floor, including Kentavious Caldwell-Pope pouring in 38 points on 12-of-18 shooting. It's highly unlikely the Pistons can come near that two games in a row as they shoot only 45.6 percent on the season. Minnesota has covered five of its last six games in Detroit and they're last five overall after a loss. Take the Timberwolves.
