Minnesota at Detroit

Minnesota looks to avenge a 96-86 loss to Detroit on Nov. 20, which snapped a 10-game winning streak against the Pistons, including a 6-0-1 ATS run.  The Timberwolves are coming off one of their best performances of the season as they beat Utah 94-80 last night while holding the Jazz to just 35.0 percent from the field. Karl Anthony-Towns scored 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Andrew Wiggins added 17 points as the Wolves improved their home record to just 5-12. The Pistons are in a tailspin mainly due to poor defense as they lost to New York 108-96 on Tuesday for their third loss in a row. The Knicks made 54.4 percent of their shots compared to 41.6 percent for Detroit. Ersan Ilyasova led the Pistons with 19 points but Andre Drummond had an off night making just five of 15 shots. Minnesota can get to .500 with a win in tonight's matchup. Though the points are valuable, look for the Wolves to regain their superiority over Detroit. Play the Timberwolves on the moneyline.
