Minnesota at Denver

The Minnesota Timbervolves were a young team over the past couple of seasons that many thought could be a fringe playoff team, but it never materialized. They have busted up the roster and apparently started over. They have just six wins on the season, and they are not going to win a lot of games. They are going to have spurts where the play is elevated and right now appears to be one of them. They beat Indiana as an +11 point road dog two games back, and more than held their own in Phoenix last night. I think they have a punchers chance to prevail tonight vs. a Denver team that is mediocre and often does not show up in this type of setting, and that rings especially true with the NBA's best team, Golden State next up on the schedule. Take Minnesota on the moneyline.
