The Mavericks defeated New Orleans 118-97 on Tuesday as Doncic scored 15 of his 33 points in the third quarter and pulled down 18 rebounds while playing less than 29 minutes. Dallas was 19-of-45 from three-point distance and held the Pelicans to 40 percent shooting overall. Minnesota is 5-16 ATS its last 21 games with two days rest and the Timberwolves are 1-4 ATS the last five meetings overall and 2-5 ATS the last seven at Dallas. The Mavericks have covered six of their last seven when following a win and eight of their last nine overall. Minnesota lost to Memphis 115-107 on Sunday as a 12-point favorite and the Mavs are rested enough in this back-to-back situation as they come off a blowout win. Take the Mavericks.
