Minnesota at Charlotte

Each year the Minnesota Timberwolves hope to make progress toward a playoff appearance, as it has been close to two decades since they have found their way into the playoffs. They are off to another rough start at 6-19. They lose PG D'Angelo Russell tonight who will sit out with a quad injury. They are in a difficult scheduling stretch, as well. They played five straight on the road, were home for one game, and are back on the road in Charlotte tonight. The Hornets are playing well at 5-3 over their last eight games, with two of the losses to top teams in Utah and Philadelphia.
