Minnesota at Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Nets were a playoff team last season, but this roster has been seriously upgraded to contender status. The Nets brought in Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan and suddenly have some rising stars surrounded by superstars. Durant will be out, healing from an Achilles injury suffered in the playoffs last year, but the talent on this team is deep. The Nets also brought in another double-digit scorer from last season in Taurean Prince. Minnesota has some young talent but do not appear to be built like a team ready to take the next step.
