Miami at Washington

Miami has won the first two in relatively easy fashion although the Wizards gave the Heat a scare towards the end of last game. Washington is going to be desparate tonight and should leave it all on the floor as they can't afford to lose this one and go down 0-3. Miami has really shot well in the first two games (55%) and it's hard to keep up that level of play for three straight against the same team. I expect the Wizards defense to step up in this game as Washington is 11-3 ATS at home after allowing 100 points or more 2 straight games this season. After some easy covers by the favorites in the first games of this second round, the dogs have started barking loudly. Well rested favorites off a home game where both teams score 100 or more points are just 20-46 (30%) ATS since 1996. One star on the Wizards here.
