What does $100 million get you? If you own the New York Knicks it gets you a team that is nine games under .500 and virtually has no shot of making the playoffs with 21 games left. So, where do the Knicks go from here? That's easy. They get stomped on by the Miami Heat, who have won nine straight games as they bid to finish with the best overall record in the NBA. The Knicks aren't anywhere near the level of the Heat and now, following a Sunday home loss to the Sonics, have no motivation. They also don't have anyone who can guard Shaquille O'Neal. The Heat played Monday night, but easily destroyed Milwaukee. None of Miami's starters went more than 33 minutes in the easy win. O'Neal and Heat Coach Stan Van Gundy, brother of former Knicks Coach Jeff Van Gundy, want to impress the New York media with a blowout win against the Knicks. The Heat are red hot heading into this one. What has been astonishing about this run is the way in which the Heat are winning games. They are destroying their opponents. Miami is 7-0 ATS so far in March. They are averaging a twenty point win per night in March which is amazing. The Knicks do not match up well here. Three stars on the Heat in this one.
