Miami at Charlotte

It is the gun lap of the NBA regular season, and the fight at the bottom of the playoff picture is a log jam. There are seven teams separated by 4.5 games. One of them, the Miami Heat, is sitting just on the outside in ninth, while Charlotte sits in position #10. No need to say that this is a big game for both teams. At one time the Heat were 11-30, but have used a 26-10 run in their last 36 games to become a viable playoff team. That puts their second half of the season record behind only Golden State and San Antonio. Puts a whole different perspective on what this team has really become, and neither of those teams would be a dog in this one. Play on Miami.
