Memphis at Washington

Everyone envisions the hot Gilbert Arenas to light up the lowly Grizzlies here. He may but we like this total to come in UNDER the high posted total. Washington's scoring has been unreal, leading to an infalted number. They have put up triple figures for ten straight games and 125 per game over their last six while scoring 117+ in each of their last four. But this is Memphis they'll be facing. Not Phoenix, Sacramento, Denver and the Lakers. Memphis scores 92 per game on the road and allows 98. Memphis will in no way try to run with the Wizards as that gives them no shot whatsoever. Memphis is 26-10 to the UNDER the past three seasons vs. poor defensive teams (allow 46%+ FG). Washington is 13-3 UNDER at home off a road win over that same span. This is defintely a contrarian call given the recent tendancies of both teams but we fell this one is going UNDER.
