This is the start of a three-game road trip out West for Memphis, a long road trip but they are favored. They are also just 3-4 SU/ATS over the last seven games. Memphis guard Tony Allen (hamstring) will sit out his sixth consecutive game. The Grizzlies are 2-10 ATS against a team with a losing record, plus 4-12 ATS following a win. It won't be easy to play this physical defensive-oriented Utah team, who's tops in the NBA in points allowed. Utah has won five of its last six games and has beaten the Grizzlies in two of the three previous meetings. Dealing away Enes Kanter to Oklahoma City to get center Rudy Gobert into the starting lineup led to improved team chemistry and great defense. Utah is on a 4-1-1 ATS run. The Grizzlies are just 9-27 when playing at Utah, including 1-4 against the spread the last five meetings. Take Utah.
