Memphis at San Antonio

The San Antonio Spurs currently own the best record in the NBA coming into tonight's game with a 22-3 mark just past the quarter pole of the season. The Spurs have made their past runs with a big defense and a halfcourt offense predicated on taking advantage of Tim Duncan's skills in the low post. Duncan is still a vital element here, but as his court-time diminishes the Spurs have become a running team. They have topped the 100 point mark 16 times already on the season. The recent change has shown the Spurs taking advantage of weak opponents and, when they have been favored by 10 or more, the totals have a 24-9-1 mark to the OVER. Memphis has been a perfect part of this trend as the last five times they have taken the floor in San Antonio, the games have topped the total. I like the OVER here.
