Los Angeles vs. Miami

LeBron James did everything he could to bring home a championship, but Los Angeles fell just short, losing 111-108 to the Heat in Game 5 on Friday night. James finished with 40 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists in a losing cause, but was unable to get off a shot in the final seconds. Nevertheless, the Lakers still have two more chances to close out the series, and Miami still is missing point guard Goran Dragic with a foot injury. The Lakers have not lost two games in a row since Aug. 18, and that was the first playoff game against Portland after they had lost the regular-season finale. The Lakers bounced back with a win in Game 4 after losing to Miami the game before. The Lakers bench did not have a good game on Friday, and we can expect that to change in this one.
