The San Antonio Spurs handled the Los Angeles Lakers with relative ease in Game one. Without Kobe Bryant, the Lakers had a lot of difficulty generating offense, and turned the ball over 18 times. They did a great job defending the Spurs who shot just 37.6% for the game, but despite of the horrible shooting effort, they still won by 12 points. The Spurs' last 73 home playoffs games show them at 45-28 ATS. Those numbers include 15-5 ATS at home in Game Two, and 11-3 ATS if they won Game One. Manu Ginobli brings a lot to the table come playoffs time, and despite missing 9 of the last 10 games, he went for 18 in Game One. Steve Nash looks hobbled, and combine that with his advanced age, and he is no longer the same player with just 3 assists in Game One. LA is trying to adjust to playing inside-out, and doing so in the playoffs vs. a team like San Antonio is not conducive to positive results. Lay the points on San Antonio.
