Los Angeles at Sacramento

I have no problem laying this big number here when the Kings play host to the Lakers at Arco Arena on Sunday afternoon. Simply put the Lakers are done and there will be no shortage of motivation on the Kings sidelines as L.A. beat Sacto here back in December. The Lakers spanked Sacramento by 16 points last time these two meet and with the way the Kings have been disposing of their visitors lately, we see nothing short of a Sacramento blowout coming here. The Lakers finally won a game last time they took the floor, grounding the struggling Sonics in Seattle. The win was just the Lakers second in their last 15 games. I doubt this team is ready to put together back-to-back road wins at this stage, especially considering the venue. Sacramento has been taking care of business at home, now going 4-1 SU and ATS in their last five at Arco. They get the job done again today with a convincing win and cover. They also get a little added satisfaction while there at it, revenging the earlier loss, as well as putting it to their hated rivals. Two stars on the Kings.
