Los Angeles at Portland

The LA lakers have been down for several years now as they have been doing their best to develop some good young talent. They aren't there yet, but have a good chance to make a statement that they are on their way back tonight in Portland. The Lakers can get to .500 with a win, and are off an inspiring 113-93 win vs Detroit their last time out. Portland has had a mediocre 4-4 start to the season, and most of that can be blamed on misfiring on a lot of shots early on. The Trailblazers have shot less than 40% in 4 of their last 5 games, and appear to be in a team slump offensively. Lakers can do one thing well and that is scoring the ball, and shuld be playing with a purpose, and confidence tonight, unlike Portland. Make the play on LA in this one.
