Los Angeles at Phoenix

The Suns are on fire and the Lakers continue to struggle. That's resulting in a big double-digit line here that I think is overdone. Phoenix won't get excited for this game and may let down. The Suns have won 12 of their last 16 games, but many of those wins have come against very weak competition. In fact, seven of the twelve wins came against losing teams. Both of these teams can score and neither defends well, so I expect a closer game than this line projects. In their last eleven road games vs. teams above .600, Los Angeles is 8-3 ATS. Meanwhile, Phoenix has shown a propensity to let down, going 2-6 ATS in their last eight at home vs. teams with a road winning percentage of less than .400. Take the points with the Lakers in this one.
