This seems like a big mismatch with how the Lakers have played thus far. And, it's likely that OKC wins this game. But, I think at 3-to-1 odds is worth a small bet on Los Angeles to pull off the stunner. The Lakers are going to turn things around at some point, and once they do, there will be great value on them. The key is to be on the front end of that. Despite their problems, when you have a motivated Kobe Bryant on your side, you always have a chance. While LA is 9-10, they are outscoring opponents by over 3 points per game on average - a sign of a good team. The Lakers have been caught sleeping against some bad teams this season, but I expect this match-up to bring out their best. Dating back to the 2010 season, Los Angeles is 10-2 straight-up on the road after a big 15+ point win as their confidence carries over. Over that same span, the Thunder have shown a propensity to get a little fat and happy when things are going well as they are just 8-11 straight-up after 5+ straight wins. I'm backing the Lakers on the moneyline here.
