It’s hard to believe that this roster full of all-stars the Lakers are putting on the floor has produced a 9-13 record on the season. Yes, they have dealt with injuries to Nash, and Gasol, but there is too much talent on the roster to continue to lose. It may be the best thing for them right now to be on the East Coast away from the media in LA where they are taking a beating. What LA hasn't done is beat bad teams, while they have held their own vs. winning teams at 5-5 on the season. Those games have been mostly competitive, and I think the Lakers will wake up in front of the bright lights of the Garden. The Knicks are off a fast-growing rivalry with Brooklyn, and came back from a 17-point deficit to steal a 3-point win, and spent a lot of energy. The Lakers may see Gasol back on the floor tonight and that certainly can't hurt. The Lakers have delivered the cash in four of the last five meetings with the Knicks, add to that tonight. Take the points and the Lakers.
