The Lakers hosted the Heat on Christmas Day with the Miami edging the Lakers 104-102 in OT but failing to cover. In that game, Kobe had 42 points but shot just 12-of-30 from the floor (he's NEVER been shy with women or tossing the rock!). Kobe never scored during OT of that game and finished with nine turnovers (think he was pressing?). Shaq must be enjoying this season, as the the Heat will easily finish with the East's best record while his former team will struggle to just make the postseason (currently 32-31). LA has won just 6 of its last 19 road games and is 11-19 SU and 13-17 ATS on the road this year. Kobe is having a great season but while the other four starters (better known as the Four Dwarfs) all average in double-digits, it's hard to make a case for any one of them are having a good season. In Miami, "Shaq and Wade" has replaced "Shaq and Kobe" as the dynamic duo, while Eddie and Damon Jones are combining for about 25 PPG on the perimeter. Inside, Haslem has done a nice job complimenting Shaq plus now the Heat have added Mourning to the rotation! After a terrible ATS start to the home season, Miami enters this game on a 13-game home winning streak going 11-2 ATS. Miami for one star.
