Los Angeles is poised to redeem itself after an embarrassing rout by the Timberwolves, who won 109-80 on Monday as the Lakers were showing the effects of playing at Utah the night before. The Lakers have won 16 of their past 20 games against Eastern Conference teams, and Miami has lost nine of 13 versus the Western Conference. The Heat are 3-7 ATS their past 10 home games and 1-4 ATS their past five games overall. Miami also is playing its third game in four days and comes off two bad losses, including 119-116 as a 4.5-point favorite at Toronto and a 108-89 trouncing at Boston as a 9.5-point underdog. The Heat shot just 36 percent and only hit eight of 35 3-pointers against the Celtics. Jimmy Butler still is day-to-day with a knee injury. Take the Lakers.
