Los Angeles, with Pau Gasol, are playing like the best team in the NBA. They beat the Suns with Gasol putting up 29, Kobe adding 41 and Odom scoring 22 and grabbing 10 boards. Since acquiring Gasol, the Lakers have reached triple digits in nine of ten games. Kobe has always had the spotlight and now he's sharing it but probably the most unnoticed beneficiary of Gasol has been Lamar Odom who has notched seven double-doubles in ten games. The Clippers are severely overmatched here and the only thing getting in the way of a Lakers double-digit win is a letdown. We don't expect that here with the cross-town rivalry and energy that has accompanied the trade. The Lakers are 16-6 ATS as a favorite in this range while the Clippers are 2-10 ATS off an upset win.
