Los Angeles at Denver

The Los Angeles Lakers have been reduced to an average team with Kobe out, Howard gone, Nash with an ailing back, and Pao Gasol shooting poorly. Gasol has a lot of pressure on him to take on the scoring load, and opposing defenses realize this, so he is getting a lot of attention. The Lakers are going to have to come to Denver and slow the pace down, as this is not a deep team right now. Add that to the altitude factor,and  they are going to be running on empty late in the game. Denver is off to a slow start, but after an 0-3 start they have won two of their last three, and should have their focus tonight, because it is the Lakers and they play their best basketball at home. Denver is riding the mojo after a double-digit win at 10-2-1 ATS in their last 13.
