Now the Lakers have to come close to that performance again, but this time on just one day's rest which has proven to be a problem for them, especially on the road. The Lakers lost by 17 in Game 5 (Round 1) two days after beating Memphis, and by 27 and 15 in Games 2 and 5 at Golden State on one day's rest. Denver has won four of the past six meetings and Nikola Jokic not only had one of his patented triple-doubles with 34 points, 21 rebounds and 14 assists on Tuesday night, but Jamal Murray added 31 points giving the Lakers more to worry about on the defensive end. The Lakers can't afford to get off to another slow start, but it's questionable of how much they have left in the tank after a furious second-half rally in Game 1.
