Los Angeles at Denver

There is no way to sugar coat the demise of the Los Angeles lakers. They are no longer a factor in the league, and that will change, but for now they are not a playoff caliber team. That said, the Lakers used to struggle to cover games, because they were good, popular, and consequently over-valued, but that has reversed itself and they are actually under-valued now. The indication is supported by their 7-3-1 ATS mark in their last 11 games when taking +6.5 or more points. Denver isn't exactly what they used to be, and they certainly haven't played well at 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games. They have not won often and in the month of December have won just one game by more than 3 points. They are certainly vulnerable here to a generous line, so take the points on the Lakers.
