If you have been asleep, Boston and its trio of All-Stars and future Hall of Famers are taking no prisoners at home. They have played flawless at the Garden at 6-0, and have out-scored the opponents by an average of 19 points per game. This used to be an intense rivalry, back in the days of Bird and Magic, but the Celtics have had the worse team in this series for years. This is the first time in recent memory that Boston actually has the better team and the Garden will be calling for no mercy here. The trio of All-Stars has made most of the difference, but major contributions have come from House and Rondo, to make this a complete team. The Lakers have played well, but when they went to San Antonio they were over-matched and lost by 15, and we expect about the same result here. The Celtics are holding opponents to 38.7 points per game in the first half at the Garden. With totals in the 100.5 to 105 range, featuring and elite team vs. a winning team, the first-half UNDER hits at an 82% clip in November games. Take the Celtics to win and cover and the first-half total to go UNDER.
