The San Antonio Spurs dismantled Utah in four straight games, and they have it going on both ends of the floor. They are probably not happy with waiting a week to get back on the floor, and it might be tough for them to find the offensive rhythm here that has been scoring pretty efficiently. The LA Clippers went 7-12 through a 19-game stretch this season, before realizing that if they didn't get after it on the defensive end they were heading nowhere. That lesson proved valuable in Game 7 where they held the Grizzlies to just 34 points in a decisive Game 7. They will bring that approach early in Game 1 to try to slow down the potentially rusty Spurs’ offense. While the Spurs’ offense may take a bit to get it going, this team is a veteran club with lots of winning playoffs experience. They don't lose site of the fact that despite the success the offense has had, they humiliated a very good offensive team in Utah. The Jazz had not gone all season scoring less than 92 points in three consecutive games, and they did not get to 92 in any of the four vs. the Spurs. San Antonio is now 37-11-4 ATS in their last 52 games, including 10-1 ATS as a home favorite of 11 or more. Play the first half UNDER, and San Antonio.
