Los Angeles at San Antonio

The Los Angeles Clippers just never seem to get any better and they now have lost eight of 10 after another defeat at Utah 126-103 on Wednesday night. The Clippers shot only 40.2 percent while the Jazz shot 51.7 percent. San Antonio snapped a five-game skid as the Spurs caught Brooklyn playing without Kevin Durant and they won 106-98. It was the defense that won it as San Antonio shot just 38.1 percent, but it held the Nets to 42.0 percent and that was enough to get the victory. Keldon Johnson led the Spurs with 36 points. The Clippers are 10-13 on the road and they have lost five straight road contests with the last win at Toronto on Dec. 27. San Antonio actually has the better offensive stats on the season averaging 112.5 points and 47.1 percent shooting compared to 109.2 and 46.2 for the Clippers. Take the Spurs on the money line.
