Los Angeles at Oklahoma City

The Los Angeles Clippers have assembled a team that they believe can compete for an NBA Championship. They did well a year ago, but learned that you have to play both ends of the floor if you want to be amongst the elite. They have opened at 8-2 this season. The Clippers have been tested twice by playing San Antonio both at home and away, and made an early statement by holding the Spurs to 41 and 42 first half points in the two games. They will take the court with that in mind against the explosive Oklahoma City Thunder. I that think they will slow the tempo by continuing to work hard on the defensive - especially early in the game. The Thunder offense works best when they are playing a lot, and off two days of rest they have produced 11 UNDERs in their last 14, so a slow start here would not be surprising.
