What a difference a year makes. A pair of teams that were battling it out last season as cellar dwellers, have both risen to respectability and beyond. The T-Wolves, with great use of top draft picks, have risen to stand in at 19-19 on the season, while the Clippers, with some young fresh talent in Blake Griffin and the acquisition of Chris Paul, have a pair of superstars that have propelled them to a 22-13 mark and a winning road record. The Clippers expended a lot of energy last night and the line is a reflection of that, but this team is young, talented and enthusiastic and has gone 6-2-1 ATS following a game that saw their starters play a combined 160 minutes or more, so while the line is effected, the team has proven not to be, offering value on the visitor. T-Wolves are just 19-40-1 ATS at home in their last 60 vs. a team with a winning road record. Play on LA in this one.
