Indiana hasn't had a great start, but there's nothing wrong with the Pacer defense, allowing 90 points per game (tops in the NBA). It's the offense that has been out of synch ranked No. 28 in points. They are on a 4-0 run UNDER the total and the UNDER is 5-1 in the Pacers’ last six road games. They are still trying to fine tune their offense and Darren Collison struggled on offense in his return to the lineup. They take on a New York Knicks team that has been the talk of the first few weeks of the season, as they’re playing great. This big difference is defense, allowing 92 ppg (No. 4 in the NBA) with even offensive minded players like Carmelo Anthony buying in to the idea that getting back and playing defense helps with wins. The UNDER is 5-0 in the Knicks’ last five home games and 13-3 UNDER the total in their last 16 home games against a team with a road winning percentage of less than .400. Look for a defensive duel in this early-season Eastern showdown. Play the UNDER.
