The Boston Celtics are becoming an aging team, with their star players all well into their 30s. They will be dealing with injuries as the year progresses, and have already been without Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, but should have both in the lineup tonight. After an 0-3 start the Celtics have some making up to do, and with a healthy lineup intact and a four game winning streak this team may be heading for a run. After a 3-0 start Indiana has lost two of their last three and failed to cover three of their last four. Last year here vs. Indiana Boston was a -10.5 point choice, and I don't think Indiana has closed the gap yet. The one thing Boston does, especially at home, is play defense. The Celtics have allowed just 82.3 points per game in their first three home games. Indiana has not scored well on the road this season despite mediocre competition, as they have been held to 90 points or less in three of their four road games. The Pacers have failed in each of their last five as a road dog of +5 to +10.5 points and are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 at Boston. The Celtics bring the defense in winning situations as they are 20-5-1 to the UNDER in their last 26 as a favorite, and 17-6-1 in their last 24 on a day of rest. Boston isn't as dominating on no rest, but they have a day here. Play Boston and the UNDER.
