Houston at Washington

Houston is fresh off a 30 point win in Charlotte, while Washington got the monkey off its back in NY by winning their 1st road game of the season, and followed it up with another road win in Philly last night.Houston has been pretty much unbeatable at home going 8-1, but have been quite mediocre on the road, and in fact you can say bad. They are 5-5, and a close examination is very revealing. They have 5 wins vs memphis,Charlotte,NY,Milw,and Miami. Those 5 teams have a combined record of 33-64, and there is not one of them that have better than a .500 record at home. The combined home record of those teams is 15-29! Washington is among the best home teams in the NBA, compiling a sterling 7-2 mark. They are playing their best basketball of the season right now, as they reached 100 points on the road just one time, but went to 113 in each of their last road games, both wins. Washington has won 5 of their last 6, and lost at Houston, where the Rockets have dominated by just 4, an d that was when they were not playing as well as they are now. Consider this 7-2 which has beaten Dallas, and Cleveland convincingly at home, vs 5-5, that has beaten noone on the road, and getting a point. Washington here.
