Houston at Portland

Portland's win over Denver has given them the keys to the eighth spot in the Western Conference playoffs, but obviously at 36-38, there is much more work to do. They are on a four game winning streak, but if the playoffs started today, none of those four teams would be in the playoffs. Houston becomes a much bigger challenge as the Rockets are already past the 50-win mark on the season. Therein lies the problem for this team. Since after Christmas, the Trail Blazers are 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS vs. a team that is better than .675 on the season. Elite teams have been their nemesis. They have averaged losing these games by a woeful 20 points per game! That doesn't bode well for them tonight as stepping up in class has not been their forte. Take Houston.
