Houston at Philadelphia

The Houston Rockets have opened the season all business as they are a perfect 3-0 out of the gate. They have covered every game as well, and no one has come within 14 of them yet. The 76ers were a bad team a year ago and will be a bad team again this season. Philadelphia is already 0-3 to start the season. Nerlens Noel was supposed to give them a lift, and he very well may before the year is out, but is averaging just over 7 points per game thus far and shooting a horrendous 38.5%. The Sixers have a deep roster and have shared a lot of minutes, but the problem is there is no go-to guy stepping up yet, and the deep roster is showing to be pedestrian at best. The Sixers have opened the season 0-1 at home, and over their last 33 here are a woeful 9-24 ATS, and there is no advantage when your roster is laden with mediocrity. Make the play on Houston.
