Houston at New York

The dysfunctional Houston Rockets just finished playing six of seven games at home, and won only two games. One of those was the last one, an embarrassing 116-114 victory over the laughable 76ers as -11 chalk. They had 23 turnovers and yielded 16 3-pointers. They also lost at home to this New York Knicks team during that stretch, 107-102, as a -5 favorite. These Rockets got their first coach fired and aren't playing any defense under the new coach, allowing 107, 102, and 114 points the last three, part of an 0-9 spread run. Houston is 28th in the NBA in points allowed, 24th in field goal shooting defense, and 21st at defending beyond the arc. The Rockets are on a 3-14 ATS run with a losing road record. New York is improved and playing hard, unlike last season. New York guard Jose Calderon is 11-of-20 from 3-point range in the last six games.
