Houston at Minnesota

The Houston Rockets played great basketball during the second half of the season, but despite a season record over the .500 mark they are denied a playoff spot because the West simply has too many good teams. They spent a lot of energy in the process and, with a nothing game on the road, I can hardly see any effort being made in this one. Minnesota has not had a lot to cheer about this season with just 17 total wins, would like to at least have one feel good to close the curtain on the 2010-11 season. The Rockets are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 as a road favorite of 5-10.5. The T-Wolves have done a nice job bouncing back after getting torched for 125+ in their last game, at 4-1 ATS in their last five. Minnesota gets the call here.
