Houston at Los Angeles

Despite their best player sitting out a couple of games with a hamstring injury, the Los Angeles Clippers have not only passed the eye test, they have a 3-2 series lead, and look to close out the Houston Rockets at home in game six. LeBron James will continue to get much of the ink for his level of play in the playoffs, but no player has dominated, and elevated their game more than Blake Griffin. Griffin has been a beast at both ends and has averaged 25.2 points per game, 13.2rebounds per game, and dished out 6.5 assists per game in the playoffs. Chris Paul looked fine in game five, and logged 35 minutes, scoring 22 and handing out 10 assists. The wildcard in the first five games is in the hands of LA as Austin Rivers has averaged 14.2 ppg, doubling his season average. LA has been all but unstoppable, and are playing at home knowing they don't want to go back to Houston for a game seven will have them playing at breakneck speed. And, as they have proved, when they get things going Houston is no match. The Clippers have averaged 115.2 ppg in this series, including 126 ppg at home where they have dominated, holding leads of 32 and 37 points in the two games. I look for more of the same with the Clippers scoring at will from inside and out, and closing out a frustrated Houston team. Houston is 6-0 to the OVER in their last six on the road vs. a winning team, and 13-3 in their last 16 overall to the OVER. The Rockets are just 1-5 ATS in their last six trips here, and the OVER has prevailed in all five of the games in this series, as well as five straight in the playoffs at home for LA.
