Five games have been played and three have been blowouts. This will be another one. Houston is up 3-2 in the series but faces a tough challenge heading out on the road to face the three-time Western Conference champion Warriors with their backs to the wall. And the Rockets a dealing with a hamstring injury to star point guard Chris Paul in the final seconds Game 5. Reports are that his hamstring was still "really sore" late Thursday and that he had felt "a twinge" upon landing after a jumper. He won't be 100% for this one and even if he plays Paul could easily re-injure the hamstring. Saving him for Game 7 at home is also an option and Houston is just 7-18 ATS off an upset win as an underdog. Meanwhile, Golden State is healthy, confident and home. The Warriors were No. 1 on offense (113.5 points per game) during the regular season and dynamite on defense, ranked third in field goal shooting allowed (.447), #10 in three-point defense. They were the only team to hit better than 50% from the field (.503), led the league in three-point shooting (.391) and free throws (.815). The Warriors are 22-8 ATS at home against teams with a road winning percentage of greater than .600, as well as 81-50 ATS at home versus teams that outscore their opponents by 6+ points per game. After losing Game 3 at Houston, Golden State came home and won 126-85 to defend their home turf. The same thing happens tonight against the banged-up visitors. Play Golden State.
