Houston at Dallas

Dallas is 10-2 at home this season and already owns a 20-point win over the Rockets on Nov. 28 and that was on the road and Houston has been underachieving losing six of its last eight games and the players are starting to grumble about how the offense is run. The Rockets come off two road losses at Minnesota and Utah and they now are 2-7 ATS their last nine games. James Harden scored 15 points and Chris Paul and Clint Capela added 12 points apiece against the Jazz, but the Rockets couldn't overcome 23 turnovers, which led to 33 points by the Jazz. The Mavericks had won two in a row at home before losing at New Orleans as the Pelicans shot the lights out with a .554 shooting percentage. The Mavericks have covered the number eight home games in a row and four straight overall after a loss. The Mavs are a small underdog in this one, so go with the Mavericks on the moneyline.
