Houston at Dallas

With all of the talk about the Denver Nuggets over the last three weeks in the NBA season, something was lost. The best team in the West could very easily be the Mavs. New coach Johnson has them flat out D-ing it up, which has never been seen down there, at least not since the late eighties. Houston has nice talent and this series will come down to perimeter defense, but the Rockets simply over rely on the three point shot, which will hurt them in the playoffs. It will be interesting to see how Yao responds to playoff basketball. He does not like physical play. He'll need to change that here for the Rockets to have a chance. Playoff basketball is just different. The arenas are full and ten times louder than normal. Beyond that, Dallas has owned their in-state rival on their home court ATS over the last three seasons going 6-1 against the Rockets. Feeling safe with the home teams today.
