Utah used an explosive fourth quarter scoring 40 points to put away the Warriors and they will look to close out the series tonight at home. It wasn't just the fourth quarter that plagued the Warriors, it was their overall performance. The last 22 games for Golden St. have seen them play some of the best basketball of any team in the NBA. Looking back at those games and game 4 of this series show why we have not given up on this Golden St. team. That game 4 featured something we don't expect to see again from them. They don't perform like that against a No. 17 ranked defense, on occasion they do vs. top defensive teams such as San Antonio (No. 1) and Dallas (No. 4). If you include those two teams then the 40.5% FG percentage was still their worst in the last 19 games, without them the worst period during their 22-game streak. The 30.8% from beyond the arc was their third worst overall and worst not including the teams mentioned above and their 61.8% FT-shooting was their lowest in 16 games. Golden St. still managed to score 101 points and they had their worst game in all three shooting categories: FG's, 3-pt. FG'S, and FT'S. This is a team that has averaged 112+ppg in the last 22. This series has been high scoring all the way through and even with Golden St. having their overall worst game in months these teams put up 216 points. It would be easy to make an argument that Golden St. should be up 3-1 at this point, but they are not. They will rise above the numbers from game 4, and that means they are in it to the end with lots of points.
